Advancing Neurostimulation: Magstim and NeuroStim at DGKN 2025

Karen Wendt ~ EGI European Sales Manager and Menno Noordlander ~ Owner and CEO of NeuroStim had the privilege of exhibiting at the DGKN conference, where we engaged with leading researchers and clinicians in the field of neuromodulation.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the latest advancements in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and explore the future of therapeutic neurostimulation.

Key Highlights from DGKN 2025

One of the standout moments of the conference was the workshop on Therapeutic Neurostimulation, held on Friday. This session provided attendees with a comprehensive introduction to transcranial neuromodulation techniques, emphasizing their potential for therapeutic applications.

Dr. Caroline Tscherpel led a hands-on session on repetitive TMS (rTMS) with neuronavigation, allowing participants to experience first-hand the ease of use and seamless integration of Magstim’s Horizon 3.0 wSGP system. The interactive demonstration showcased how the stimulator, coils, and navigation software work together to create a streamlined, user-friendly experience. Menno captured a particularly engaging moment during this session, highlighting the practical application of our technology. The image of a participant holding a TMS coil while interacting with our system perfectly illustrates the accessibility and precision of modern TMS solutions.

Engaging with Experts

Beyond the hands-on workshops, the DGKN conference featured insightful discussions from some of the most influential figures in neuroscience and neuromodulation. Renowned experts such as Ulf Ziemann and Walter Paulus shared their insights on the latest developments in the field, reinforcing the critical role of TMS in both research and clinical applications. Additionally, we had the pleasure of engaging with Prof. Andrea Antal, a distinguished Magstim user, who continues to push the boundaries of neurostimulation research. These interactions underscored the importance of collaboration in advancing TMS technology and its real-world impact.

A Dynamic Conference Experience

The DGKN conference was a vibrant hub for knowledge exchange, featuring engaging panel discussions and poster sessions that reflected the latest innovations in clinical neurophysiology. The energy and enthusiasm of the attendees reaffirmed the growing interest in neuromodulation and its expanding applications. We would like to extend our gratitude to all who visited our exhibit and participated in the discussions. Magstim remains committed to driving innovation in TMS technology, and we look forward to continuing these valuable conversations at future conferences.
